Hi, Anna...

I guess mine would have to be: "Bogle's Hyperion Fluid For The Hair"... I found one in my digging days, way back in the early '70's... Altho it was cloudy from being buried, it had an open pontil scar and was nice and crude... I used to have a sign up in front of my house: Bottles For Sale... And people would stop by to look... I traded my Bogle's for a pristine A Van Hoboken sealed gin...

Since then, recently I have owned two more examples... One was broken in a car accident, shortly after I had gotten it back from being tumbled... Here's the one I currently own:

this is a neat thread. i dug this one in the mid 1970's. it is supposedly one of only a few known. there are no known undamaged examples to my knowledge ( whatever that means at this point ). ok folks, looking forward to some neat posts. take care all.

sorry. for the sake of those of us with eyesight issues ( like myself ), the embossing reads.

MY 1st rare bottle was a amber bottle embossed "INDIAN FIG SYRUP,QUITMAN ,GEORGIA". I WAS TAKEING IT AROUND A AN TIQUE MALL WHERE TOM HICKS WAS SET UP DEALING AND I SHOWED IT TO HIM, NOT KNOWING WHO HE WAS . HE OFFERED ME $50 FOR IT , I SAID NO. LATTER I WENT BACK TO HIM AND SAID I WOULD TAKE $100 FOR IT ,THINKING HE WOULD NO WAY BUY IT . HE DID NOT HESITATE AND GAVE ME $100! THAT WAS ALOT OF MONEY FOR ME IN THE 1970s! I THINK HE STILL HAS IT!
