These are my most recent finds. I am in construction and found these two bottles in the wall of a 1860s house in connecticut. One bottle reads Tweedles celebrated soda or mineral waters and the other side reads courtland street 38 new york . The other bottle reads S. Smith Auburn NY 1857. Both bottles are dead mint, not even a scratch. Lucky find. Any info on value would be most helpful. Hope you enjoy the pics. Thanks

WOW!!! Twp very awesome finds!! That was your very lucky day. Congrats!! They will look great in your collection, but if they are not what you usually collect sell them puppies. They should add a fairly nice sum of cash to your bottle buying funds. That is one of the cleanest Tweedles I have ever seen. Man I wish we had more older homes still standing in Texas. It still amazes me what comes out of the walls and floor spaces of these older homes. The rarest bottle any of my digging buddies has ever found came out of a floor space of an abondoned home. It was a "Cohens Brittish Cough Balsam Dr. Cohen Waxhachie Texas". We have dug broken ones in the past, but this one is dead mint.. Once again way to go man. If you decide to part with either drop me a line.

Awesome finds. I like the Tweddles. Got several of them. They had diff spellings of that on their bottles. They also had open pontil variations.
