Been a while since I've posted. Just got back from a 6000+ mile road trip that took us from Vancouver BC area to Niagara Falls and then back through the USA to home again. Managed to pick up a few great bottles! I had finds at Mikes General Store in Winnipeg, Sleeping Giant Antique mall in Thunder Bay Ont. Then a freestyle stop at a place on the highway called Cottage Antiques in Iron Bridge Ont., the final stop was at St. Jacobe's in Waterloo Ont.....that where I picked up the Dandy and the Acadia. It was a fantastic Road trip and feel fortunate I was able to make a few stops and some nice finds. [attachment=2015-05-29 22.56.43_resized.jpg]

Thanks tsalz14..yea I was pretty happy to pick up that one to go with 10oz 1957 variation I have. I have been watching to see if an embossed one shows up. [attachment=20150530_103902_resized.jpg]

A couple weeks ago, I got that same 7up but with Arabic on one side. Pretty weird if you ask me...someone must have took it home as a souvenir or something.

I've seen the bottle your talking about on ebay. I can't believe it took me years and year to track one down?...Mine is dated 1971 so I think it was near the end of the 7oz bottles up here in Canada....I actually believe the first and second generation 7oz bottles are more common!

Thanks Eric!...that Stubby variation is the second one I've had...the very first one I got was in pretty rough shape and I sold it in a whole big box of bottles to a young fellow about 7 years ago. Getting a nice little line up of Stubby bottles now [:)]

That's my first 7up carrier!....been collecting for ages but never picked up any 7up carriers, the top slogan 'Take Some Along' is what caught my eye..as well as the 6/.... space.
