has anyone tried using this yet, i think the way it works you have to set up an account at windows live, then using the live search bar, search for a product you want to buy, when the results for ebay show up they have a gold coin beside them, click on the gold coin and it takes you to ebay where you can get 25% off

you only get 25% off of items that are listed as "buy it now and using paypal"

i havent tried yet, i am skeptical of such claims

has anyone here tried it??

and how do you receive your 25%

Hello Probe Zilla, my son used that option you referred to on ebay. He bought some special kind of baseball mitt for his son(my grandson) that was a hundred plus and received 25% off. Best regards. Paul

its a discount. When you pay you enter the number and the amount is subtracted from your payment total. Just like if you use a gift card at a store.

The seller gets his full price, PP or ebay coughs up the 25%. This is nornally for up to $100.00 off one item, my 10% off coupon excludes ebay motors, etc.

Hi Guys, I have used this feature over a dozen times. It is completely legit. Microsoft is doing it to boost the number of people who use their search engine. They make so much when someone clicks on a sponsored site under their search engine that they can afford to give people 25% off. Theres a couple of catches though...

-$200 max cashback per item,
-cashback can only be used 12 times a year,
-you can not get more than $2500 cashback in a year.
-you have to wait 60 days before you can transfer the cashback to your account.
-theres a somewhat tricky process to get your cashback, to sign up for the program etc

The 10% coupon others have reffered to is something different.
