Hi!
Here's some photos of 3 nice unmarked green
hued bottles that I wonder if anyone knows anything
about? The tallest (# 1) is 9 1/2" high, #2 is a pretty
citron shade and 8 1/4" high and #3 is emerald with 619
embossed on it's base and it stands 8 1/4" high also.

Any information will be greatly appreciated!

Hey Newbie, The emerald green bottle is a capers bottle. The olive green bottle was probably used for olive oil and the tall aqua bottle is also a condemint bottle, probably onions or the like.

Hi, I've seen simalar to the middle one listed in a few categories. Like cap said as a oil/food. Also colognes and some have called them wine tasters or testers. Is yours 3piece? I have a pontiled one I'll put up when I get my camera back.

Hi Warren ~ Thanks for your info on the uses for these
3 green bottles.

Hi Eric ~ No, the citron (middle one) has no mold marks.
Does that means it's free blown? The bottom is smoothed
and has a spot in the center where I guess, the pontil mark was.

Hi Oldtimer ~ I can't take any credit for the nice collection of
bottles. They were all dug or traded for on Cape Cod back
in the 1960's by my Dad and brother. My Dad passed away last month &
my brother has moved overseas and has entrusted me with the sale of his
collection. They are beautiful and it's far better that someone enjoy them
than have them sit up in my attic for another 30 years!

Thanks again everybody! [:)]

Hi Eric......Yes, you're right. I do see a few faint
lines encircling it. [8|]

What do you suppose these bottles might be
worth? Thanks again for your help!

Hi, that one on the left is very rarely seen in aqua. Green is the normal color. As for the middle one, it used to be called a "wine tester." Now more and more people think it was a cologne, because a case were found with fancy French cologne labels on them.
