I was getting an area ready to plant, for a nice couple we are working for & dug up a coke bottle! It has Savannah GA. on the bottom, the middle is embossed Bottle Pat'd Nov. 16, 1915. Does anyone know how long this printing was on coke bottles? I showed it to the couple thinking they may be collectors as well.the man replied " Oh we already have a 6 oz coke bottle, but I think it has a crack in it, you found you keep it"! I was thrilled. The bottle has a few really nice bubbles, and at least 20 small bubbles.

it sounds old but we'd need to see a picture of it to get a better idea , my guess is coca cola bottles are pretty common find in georgia as coke was based out of there so i'm not sure if it be rare or have alot of value

The 1915 was the original "Hobble Skirt" coke bottle and so dated. The patent was re-issued in Dec 25 1923 and so dated and referred to by collectors as the "Christmas Coke" for obvious reasons. Some issueing cities are rare, some real common, you need to be a specialist to know.

FYI, all patents are isseud on Tuesday, thus the Dec. 25 date.
