I bought this bottle at the bottle show this weekend and I guess I am trying to find an answer if the label on the bottle is real. I was told the bottle is not a 7-up bottle ( obvious reading the bottle) but was told back in the day when seven up ran out of bottles they would get them from were ever they could get there hands on them. To me doesn't sound to far fetched! For 10 dollars I have a nice conversation piece. What do you all think. Thanks

To get a 7up bottle with a paper label in that nice condition is very cool. Probably not the original bottle, which makes it even more special. Looks like it was a 1943, originally. I have at least one soda bottle that was re-used like this.

For sure not the original bottle. Wasn't sure about the label. I think they can easily make them I assume. I believe the guy I bought it from. What the hell 10 bucks. Thanks

I think the label is real. Or someone did a very good job at making it looked old and faded.

The bottle looks age appropriate. The label does too. I would have to look at it in person to inspect it as to whether the label is original to the bottle. Almost too clean, but I have examples of paper labels that are very clean and original to their bottles. Regardless it is a great looking bottle and nothing to be ashamed of. I wouldn't worry about it if it were mine.

It looks like the wrong size bottle. That's not a 24oz, is it? Sorry if I'm wrong.
