It has 259-8-10.
Looks like a flower pot in the center with a J in it.
And 1B62.Could be 1862 but I can't tell.
Also has very small chip on the bottom edge of bottle.

No it wasn't, the 'flower pot' you describe sounds like a keystone to me, does it look like this?

Not every bottle maker dated there bottles with the actual date, many times a code needs to be deciphered to dertermine the date...

Then the info I posted is correct, is it possible the 259-8-10 is actually 259-B-10?

This entire article is worth reading but especially pages 6 and 7 ...

(1932-1952)

Even though Rick Sweeney's book list a My Pic acl from 1962, I suspect it is a typo and should be 1952.

(Possible) Correction ...

Based on the following, its possible that Rick Sweeney's book is correct after all. Here's a My Pic Beverages bottle that was listed on eBay in March of this year with a starting bid of $18.99 which received zero bids. But what's most interesting about it is that it wasn't made by Knox Glass but instead was made by Owens-Illinois in 1955. Thus, the 1962 bottle in Rick's book could very well have been an Owens-Illinois example.

And 1B62.

Thomas ~

Are you certain the base mark is 1B62 and not 1B52 ... ? Sometimes a 5 looks like a 6 and vice versa.

Thanks

Bob
