I have a 7up bottle with the girl on it and it has 8 bubbles I been told this is a error and only should have 7 bubbles. Can anyone tell me more
Thanks
I picked up a 8 bubble in Indiana Saturday, a TOM JOYCE, CO. INDIANAPOLIS, IND. 8 bubble for $10 but it was pretty dirty... (got lucky it cleaned up real nice) Check ebay's SOLD LISTINGS for other prices that is a good way to see what they are actually bringing/selling for(Not what people are hoping for) As far as 8 bubbles, my guess as a designer, I think the logo was at first just designed that way not even thinking of the number of bubbles... again that is just a guess... no idea... I just picture the designer, drawing all these logos, reworking them, asking for opinions, stressing cause he knows it's going up against Coke and Pepsi..and just when he think he's got the perfect one, it's gone to print, it's on the shelf, he's proud of what's been done... the wife comes up and says "You know it would have been better if you would have used 7 bubbles instead of 8 bubbles because it's called 7up!" DOH!!!
thats how I heard it was designed with no emphasis on how many bubbles, then someone in 7 up said why do we have 8 bubbles when were 7 up,or something like that 7 bubble around the girls arms vs 8 and on the main label
