Well i decided to head out digging today. The sky was sunny when i left remember that. I got there and started digging. After about 15 minutes it started to sprinkle so i kept digging. 5 minutes after that it was downpouring. I had to book it home on my bike and got completely soaked. I got three keepers for the day though so i guess for 20 minutes thats not that bad.

And my favorite of the day. A local unembossed paper lable extract or medicine. Anyone have any info on the Zinke Company or any other piece i found today?

Is that gold leaf on the bowl. Seems like your being careful also. Bowls, bottles with labels...not easy to pull. Nice job. Madpaddla

Thaks madpaddla. Not sure if that is gold leaf on the bowl. HOw would i be able to tell?

Hey Tony,Nice finds. Never sen a Watkins lid. The gold on the bowl is a gold based ceramic paint. About a pennies worth of gold. Soak the bowl in bleach for a while and it should whiten up quite a bit.

Thanks Warren. How long are we talkin about for soaking the bowl?

Just check it every hour or so and take it out and rinse well with clear water when it's as clean as you want it . The bleach wont hurt it.
