Well I know it's the middle of the year and is starting to get hot so what better time for Christmas story. A couple years ago I was digging behind my mothers house at the end of the street on what I think was where they dumped the trash of an old house. The house is a late 1800's house . I found lots of broken bottles. This was the only thing I brought out that day. Mom said the name on the front was the same as the lady that moved to Florida. But she used to live in that old house at the other end of the street. She rents it out, But at the time it was vacant. Well mom called today and said the house is occupied again. She went for a visit. She obtained the lady's name and address and telephone # in Florida. What else can I do , I have to send it to her. It was given to her by her future husband when she was 16 years old. Her first Christmas gift from him. I'm going to call her tommorrow. I will finish this story once I've talked to her and sent the item. Here are the pics. Enjoy, I sure have ![attachment=image(HF).jpg]

Just got off the phone with Mrs. Fayette Gentry. Pretty sharp for 79 years old. She remembered that Christmas like it was yesterday. She married Billy at 18, they grew up together. He was her next door neighbor. They were married for 51 years before he passed away. Had one child, Jean. With her help she sent me this pic. He worked for the railroad, she was a school teacher. I know what some of you are thinking, ask permission to dig ! I would love to, but she has donated the property to my home town for a children's park. Guess the renters got to move. Ground breaking in January. I think that's great. This find was enough for me. In the pic that's Fay (8yrs) in the center and Billy(12yrs) on the right.

Too cool! I turned 26 days old that Christmas day! Also interesting is the year was 1951 and they were married 51 years. You were meant to find it, along with the story to pass on......Jack
