I went to my favorite construction site that is just about ready to wrap it up. I found a few machine made sodas (big red and coke both 10 oz.) let me know if anyone wants these. You can pay for shipping and I'll send them to you (if they are even worth shipping). The biggest find came when a reached down to pick up what I thought was a shard from the way the sun was hitting it. I had never found an arrowhead nor had I even looked for one. I emailed a few websites and found out its an ADENA point arrowhead 1500 to 3000 yrs old. These Indians settled along the Ohio river that later became the Hopewell culture. It makes sense as this construction site is less than a 1/4 mile from the Ohio river on the Indiana side. I'm sure it would be just another day for an avid arrowhead collector but for me....it's very cool stuff.

Nice Adena culture point you have there. I would suggest going back and looking specifically for more. If you were that close to the river, and you found a point, there are probably several more there to be found !
