On the Muskegon Bottling Works:+Baltimore Loop Seal is correct.+Made by S. B. & G. Co., I'd assume (Base.) +The "Pure and Without..." statement, if I recall, came out in 1899 as mandatory. +Streator Bottle & Glass (S. B. & G. Co.) went out in 1905. +"Poisons" typically appears to become singular (''Poison'') in most of the bottles I have seen after 1905.[align=center]+Bottle circa 1899-1905. [/align]I own the identical, a tooled crown from the same period (same glass-maker,) an ABM from some bottle maker that I cannot recall, and an unknown-maker of one that was either blob or tooled crown (top gone, sadly.) I also own the piece to another ABM version. Plus, I own the Hutch-type Baltimore Loop Seal in flint and a Lightning-Closure in amber. 1867, if I recall, is when The City Bottling Works came in. In 1883 or 1884 it became Muskegon Bottling Works. It seems to have continued into the teens or twenties. The bottle was likely generic for pop or alcohol. I'm told they're not rare, but before last month I'd not seen one like yours before anywhere-- in person or online. These were unwanted by a collector who I go to a club with. He probably has the largest collection of Muskegon bottles around, and he was given these for free but didn't want or need them for his collection. Along with many other bottles in there, he essentially boosted my collection ahead by about a year. Pretty good score you got there. In my opinion, the pontiled Bear grease is just superior.
