Met up with Fred and Penn Digger today to get in some pre-apocolyptic snowstorm digging  [8D]  ...It was a residential lot with the house gone.... There were T.O.C.bottles right near the surface....We didn't find too much, but a scarce local druggist came out, which I gave to Tom, since that's the focus of his collection,... and also some real interesting bits and pieces... Here was our view looking towards the street.

Nice, nice, nice!

Even though it was mostly gone, I thought that it was slightly smaller in size than mine...(It would be awesome to have a size run of them!)

Sanderson appears to have stores in different PA towns. Found mention of him in Scranton and Millerstown too. Here is a neat link that has all sorts of old paper labels. View it in PDF format. Page 12 has a Poison label for H.C. Sanderson.

Nice diggins Joe, hope you guys find a big pile of those stellar Sandersons!

Katsoo, methinks it is a Wild Cherry tree, not Birch. May have been an ingredient of the products in some of the bottles Joe dug up too!
