This bottle is only about 5 inches tall. Do you think they sold soda or juices in such a small bottle? Maybe sample bottles?

Around here, I find bottles embossed Welch's in that size fairly frequently. But there are other juice bottles (like Birely's - I might not be spelling that right) that are small like that (but not that crown soda shape usually. Those look like milks kinda).
