A little guy... is this a soda?

Found this in the creek today and I think it is a little soda. Am I wrong?

Here's the bottom but otherwise no distinctive marks.

It could be but it might also be juice or the like . . .

This bottle is only about 5 inches tall. Do you think they sold soda or juices in such a small bottle? Maybe sample bottles?

Around here, I find bottles embossed Welch's in that size fairly frequently. But there are other juice bottles (like Birely's - I might not be spelling that right) that are small like that (but not that crown soda shape usually. Those look like milks kinda).
