Andrew ~

I have a copy (2008 update) of Bill Porter's "Coca Cola Checklist" which list the following for the bottles you are inquiring about ...

1. Alpena, Michigan D-Pat = Common
2. Somersworth, New Hampshire D-Pat = Common
3. Indianapolis, Indiana D-Pat = Common
4. South Bend, Indiana D-Pat = Common
5. Mansfield, Ohio 1923 Pat (Christmas) = Common

I suppose I could just as easily have said all were considered common, but decided to do it this way. The general rule of thumb is, the smaller the town the greater the rarity and value. With, of course, condition playing a major role in the value of "any" bottle Coca Cola or otherwise.

I hope this helps.

Here's my favorite and most valuable Coca Cola contour/hobbleskirt ...

1915 Patent, ( Which actually weren't first distributed until 1917) and is a Root Glass bottle dated 1917 from Scranton, Pennsylvania - It's in near mint condition - Listed in Bill's book as Scarce+ - But because it is a first issue 1917, it's considered even rarer and more valuable that what Bill Porter list it as. Remember; 1915 Patents were made/issued from 1917 all the way up to about 1930. So the older bottles are much harder to find than the later one's, thus making them more valuable as well. I estimate the value of my Root17 at about $100.

Of course, they all look pretty much alike, but here's the pic anyway.

D-Patent's according to Bill Porter's 2008 update ...

Bangor, Maine = Common

Muncie, Indiana = Common

Remember ... Small towns are usually the harder to find and more desireable bottles.

Andrew ~

Here's Bill Porter's public email address where you can inquire about purchasing one of his "Coke Bottle Checklist"

oldcokes@aol.com

Note: Mine is a 2008 edition which I believe was updated last year (2011) and might cost more now than what it indicates on the cover.
