A recent dig and the results

Some mates and I recently did some digging on a site close to home. Here are some photographs to give you an idea of what could be found at the site.

Shovel? It's a fork, and the shot was "posed" to show where we had been digging. Also, it's me with the fork. The guy sitting down, wearing blue jeans, is TROG. The other two are not members of this forum.

Diginit, I was quite surprised to dig that little stoneware, as it was totally unexpected. The cobalt poison is one of a type that seem to have a frequency of maybe 10%, that is, one dig in ten on average will you find one or more. The stoneware would be much less, maybe about 5% (one dig in twenty will there be some stoneware).

There seem to be probably around ten different sizes and/or shapes in these small poisons, with the hexagonal being most common. Round (cylindrical) are rarer at this site.

I have included what happened to two small blue poisons due to fire when the dump was used.
