Hello everyone, and thank you for accepting me as a new member. I'm French, living in New Caledonia, in the South Pacific. The country has a rich history, with an American, Australian and New Zealand presence, particularly during the two world wars. New Caledonia was also an American rear base from 1942 to 1946. A lot of things can be found there, and I spend hours trying to identify and date the bottles I find... It's a whole new passion! Thanks, Christine

I'll be interested to see what you've been finding there! Pacific islands can have all sorts of interesting bottles from around the world, and sometimes haven't been searched very thoroughly before. I remember a few years ago we had someone on here from Indonesia who was finding fantastic bottles of the sort that most of us in North America can only dream about.
