I also picked up this Admiral Dewey Spanish American War commemorate Pitcher. I thought I got a good deal, after a little research it seems I paid about what it's worth. It seems to be made of crystal and has a portrait of Admiral Dewey and the battleship Olympia on the other with cannon balls around the base. It really caught my eye and I love history.

Does anyone know how they would have made this? It has four seem lines under the base. Thanks for looking

Hello Kevin, It looks to me like the bottom of the press mold had four parts and the mold also had four parts. The picture of the lip looks like it was off center to the seam. It is a very nice historical piece in any ones collection. RED Matthews

Yeah the pouring area is off center. How would that happen in a mold? Thank you both for the comment
