Alka-Seltzer?

Here's one from the farmer's surface dump. It's 5 1/2 in. Tall, 1 1/4 in. wide, on base it has the Owens Illonois logo (1929-1954 one) with a 2 to the left of it, 3 to the right, and a 22 on the bottom. Under the O-I logo is "A-S". Dad said it held alka-selzer. Anything?

Yah. Looks like 50's to me. Alka-seltzer came in glass until 1986. I wonde if they looked like this, minus the o-i logo.[:D]

yes-this was the only type of alka seltzer that I remember as a kid growing up-it stayed in the fridge till dad needed it-when I was all "growed" up and my husband needed so-I couldn't find it-never knew it is now in foil packets and such-hey and I am 41 almost 42-wendy
