I found that in 1867 they had a product that was an extract from willow tree bark so maybe it contained something along those lines. I wasn't the shape of a traditional extract but who knows, it could have been. I've been trying to find a picture of it on the web but no luck

The original aspirin contained salicin made from willow bark.

That is a nice looking bottle. Other than the size and "similar shape", that isn't it either but it's closer.
