"San Francisco can truly boast of many fine pharmacies, but there is not one that is more complete than the establishment of the Popular Pharmacy, 1201 Dupont street, at the corner of Broadway. This place is one of the oldest in the northern part of the city and was recently purchased by J.E. Artigues from the former owner A. Airaldi whose experience as a pharmacist covers many years although still a young man, is the manager of the store." From.
They were apparently burned out in the fires:
