so far so good; The picture will need to be a little larger and the wording embossed on it should be "/ SPELLED OUT " so we can know what is embossed on the glass, panels and bottom. It is also helpful if you show a picture of the finish. RED Matthews

1896, The Druggists' Circular:

"San Francisco can truly boast of many fine pharmacies, but there is not one that is more complete than the establishment of the Popular Pharmacy, 1201 Dupont street, at the corner of Broadway. This place is one of the oldest in the northern part of the city and was recently purchased by J.E. Artigues from the former owner A. Airaldi whose experience as a pharmacist covers many years although still a young man, is the manager of the store." From.

They were apparently burned out in the fires:

"LIST OF DRUG STORES BURNED OUT IN SAN FRANCISCO The Pharmaceutical Era publishes the following list of retail druggists whose stores were completely burned out in the San Francisco disaster...
