American Stomach Bitters

O.K I need help on this one. Little reference to this bottle I recently acquired so if anyone out there has a good bitters book maybe I can fill in the blanks.

Warmans has this one!
1890-1900, 8" Amber, smooth base and tolled top $120-$160

Nice bottle!

With the label, mint it would upwards og $400.00 by Cleve's book

The only problem, and maybe a good one is that warmans has it listed for Rochester, NY.

There are a bunch of different "American Stomach Bitters", this one is A-55 in Ring/Ham, listed as very rare. Nice find!

Great. I knew I could rely on the group. What I like about this bitters is the rasied area on the shoulder that probably had a label on it. You can see part of it in the first photo. []

American Stomach Bitters from Rochester N.Y.( as you saw referenced ) is a strap side flask and a different company than your bottle.
Your American Stomach Bitters is from The Meyers Company in Buffalo , N.Y. ( Emil A. Meyers ) .
As mentioned above it is a rare mold

I haven't seen many of these sell . I see several labeled examples selling in the 200.00 - 375.00 range . The last one I have reference to sold in 1995 in Glassworks auction , Amber , Applied mouth , 95 % original label , original foil neck seal , Bottle is perfect $ 209.00
