Anna Pottery of Illinois snake jug?

Hello all,
I dug this bottle in Montana some 15 years ago and have never been able to find info on it. I'm guessing it could be an Anna Pottery of Illinois snake jug. Obviously the snake is missing the middle section of it but it still ranks as one of my all time great finds. Anybody have any guesses as to what this may be?

I started reviewing some of my older posts and ran across this one. I'm curious if anybody else has dug or found something similar to this and was able to identify where it came from? I found in an old railroad dump where I also found some Chinese opium and other Chinese script bottles, as well as a bunch of the usual USA bottles. Do you think this one could be Chinese?

The style definitely looks more Oriental than typically American. Definitely not Anna.
