Recently dug cure. Deep Amber. 7 3/4 in. high, 2 3/4 in. wide and 1 1/2 in. deep. Smooth base, early tooled top. Chamfered corners. Front and rear panels are recessed and plain for labels. Side panels are both embossed differently. Side 1 ALEXANDERS SURE CURE FOR MALARIA AKRON, O. Side 2 ALEXANDERS LIVER & KIDNEY TONIC AKRON, O. Has only been rinsed with soap and water. Any information would be appreciated. I looked everywhere I knew to and have not found anything at all on it. I dont collect cures so would like to educate myself with it before selling. Thank you for any help you can offer.

Never heard of it before, but I love that crude hand-cut embossing! You don't often see embossing like that on bottles from that era.
