i deff would go back for the cast iron skillet you can reseason them and some are worth big money. I found mine in my husbands grannys house and another i inherited from a friend.when i cook with them which is alot makes me think of all the wonderful food cooked on them and the good times they had.

No kiddin, go get that skillet. Like Lee said you can reseason them and some are worth big money.

my dads got 40 years with A&P (The great Atlantic and Pacific Tea company) if you wanna sell it with the label. A Google search would bring up some great info on the company.

A&P was to me Ann Page I think in the 60's. On an off note I have a soda with a bluing label.

Thanks all for your responces. I went back and got it today. Its soaking in some clr. What is the best way to clean it? It was found in one of the lowest layers late 1880's. Its got rust embossing right now. Thanks for any ideas you guys have.
Phila : its yours if you want it. I think I just bought some bottles off your ebay. LOL
Cows: Great bottle there. Thanks and real nice label. Could of counted on the cows to have one kickin around the house. Cows your amazing.

I'm gonna take a guess.Well, three guesses actually. It is either a Grizwold, Piqua or Wagner. Those are the only three I know offhand. If it has a sprue(mold mark) on the bottom it might be too early to be marked.
