i got 30 or so old bottle mags off of the bay . they are from i think 1972-1979. nice reads. if you keep an eye out you will see them come up from time to time. oh yea rick i did read you article and i thought it was good. i still have the 1986 and 87 mags i have doubles of, they are yours if you want them. ~matt

I GOT MY FIRST ISSUE OF THE OLD BOTTLE MAG. IN 1974 AND MY LAST IN 1980. GOT OUT OF COLLECTING FOR AWHILE CAUSE MY 1ST WIFE NAGGED ALL THE TIME BOUT MY COLLECTING.SO I GOT RID OF MY COLLECTION TO GET ALONG WITH HER. DAMN I WISH I HAD GOT RID OF HER AND KEPT MY COLLECTION ,CAUSE SHE LEFT ANYWAY![] MY WIFE NOW AIN'T BIG BOTTLE ETHUSIEST ,BUT SHE DOES LIKE THEM. SO IN 1990 I STARTED COLLECTING AHAIN AND STARTED WANTING A BOTTLE MAG .I WROTE TO THE OTHER ADDRESS TO TRY TO GET A SUBSCRIPTION AND WAS [THANKFULLY ] LED TO JIM'S MAG. THE FIRST ISSUES I GOT WERE A VERY SMALL MAG. IN SIZE AND SOON WERE THE SIZE THEY ARE NOW.NEVER SEEM TO HAVE THE MONEY FOR A SUBSRIPTION NOW.

I was 9 years old when that mag came out.It would be a few more years before I was serious about digging bottles []
