i'm assuming its a toronto , ontario , canada coca cola bottle ? i'd be curious to see what it looks like if you could post a pic . i don't get the chance to see the old coca cola bottles too often . been in alot of antique stores this year and i can only recall seeing one really old coca cola bottle it was from 1910 era and clear and only 6 oz i believe . lots from 50's - 60's bottles around not alot of the older ones for sale .
Yes, that is the bottle, from what my friend described. His phone/camera is not working well, right now.
He says (and I trust his call) that it is damage-free, with the exception of a very small sliver on the inside of the lip.
He is asking $100.00 for it.
Bill
OK, here is the reply from Scott. He has had an offer of 100.00 from an antique store owner.
It is embossed Toronto on the heel and he says it is NOT the bottle you posted, Ryan.
>>No its not...The script is lower down on the bottle just below the shoulder. I will try to get a pic to you tonight and the Antique guy said he would give him $100.00 so who ever offers the most i guess. And it says Toronto on the lower bottom. <<
So there you go, fellas. I am waiting on the photo from him.
OK, just got the pic, posting here. Not the greatest, but it gives you something to work with.
It is embossed in script Coca-Cola. Below that is Registered and below that, just above the heel, is TORONTO, ONT.
The sliver on the inside of the lip is perhaps "1/4 the size of a BB."
its a neat bottle you won't see everyday , i'm not familar enough with coca cola bottles to know what it be worth in this area . its going to be worth the most $ to a coca cola collector in Toronto , Ontario area . its out of my price range . the oldest coca cola bottles i have in my collection are from the 40's and i didn't pay anything for them found them swiming over the years .
