Man, what a pile of aquas, everybody. Beautiful. And YOW, what an ink! Never even heard of that one before. To be one of a kind, AND to have all those swirls too is just unreal.

Doug, great ink it does look like those bushfields from Wheeling. Now did you have that tumbled or did it come out that clean?

Ryan,

I forgot to send you the picture, didn't I? It came out of a clay layer and is very clean but I have a little oil rubbed on it.I won't have this one cleaned and it doesn't really need it.Tossed it out with the shovel at about 3:00a.m. on a snowy night, thank god it wasn't missed or damaged.Just like the Laughlin & Bushfield's this was bottled by druggists. One of the family took off to Chillicothe Ohio after med school and apprenticeship in this fathers store. He produced two patent medicines most collector's will recognize.

Those are great medicines!Do you happen to know the history or orgin of them? I think I remember hearing a small cache was found in S. Ohio and they were previously unknown.I have never seen a shard or heard of one being dug.

I remember reading that there was 50 of them found in an old store basement back in the 70's I think. To my knowledge none were ever dug.
