This is one of my buys from the Baltimore show. First time I saw one of these was in Jeff Noordsy's sold items and I loved it! So I had to have it when I stumbled across it at the show.

Here is a shot of the nice open pontil base. The gentleman I bought this from agreed that it was probably a Baltimore piece.

100 percent Baltimore Glass works. That mold is one of a few we find shards of quite often in local privies dating to the 1850s

Thanks guys, and Chris thank you for sharing your knowledge. This snuff was a pleasant splash of color in my utility collection, it definitely stands out. Steve thanks again for helping me with my free blown mug, I gave it to Norman Heckler at the Baltimore show. He said it was American but was a very strange form, but the handle was definitely a dead give away for an American attribute. I told him some of the things you passed on to me about it and he liked what he heard. He never could decide what glasshouse, but he felt New York, South Jersey, or Kensington was a really good guess.

Thanks, Travis
