I really like the Sutton. I seen that was coming up, great ones for sure!

They are rare bottles but both have been over tumbled in my opinion. Also the embossing on the Sutton is so weak that its very hard to see it without the paint added and it has a crack in the neck. But its still a very rare bottle being the only example known in that color. I know where there is a nicer puce example that I'd rather have. As for the Randall torpedo its also a hard to get one but I know where a few are in collections that are nicer.

Chris, is that the Vaught bottle? I wondered if it was overcleaned or was just a very lightly embossed bottle. I seen a pic of that puce one you mentioned.

Tim, yeah these are Vaught's bottles I don't know if he cleaned the Sutton or not but I would suspect he did. It did have very weak embossing to start and I'm sure tumbling didn't help it. It might just be me but i'm very picky about bottles being tumbled I have yet to see a good tumbling job on a soda.... They just tend to have too much wear and the only way to make the "look good" seems to be to over tumble them. Personally I'd rather have a dug example with the stain and wear then one that feels smooth to the touch....

I hear ya, personally I wouldn't think of tumbling a bottle with weak embossing. Great color on that guy for sure tho. I'd like to see the base.

Chris, I couldn't agree with you more, I like dug bottles and would only consider a very light tumble for a very sick bottle. (no cutting agents)

I got a bottle tumbled (ONCE) some A hole broke my bottle and never compensated me. I'm like an elephant I never forget.

I dont care if the Pope was a tumbler,never again. HAPPY EASTER []
