Aloha Everyone,
I had a question on a Bay View Brewing Co. quart from Seattle Washington does anyone know how much is it worth...thinking of purchasing one and don't want to pay too much...thanks
It is not listed in Byron & Vicky Martins: "HERE'S TO BEERS" book published in 1976 and updated in the 90s. From that, I would suggest that it is Rare to Extremely Rare. but that is a guess. Hopefully you'll get a more definitive answer from someone more knowledgeable, that is most anyone else.
A super nice example of the green Bay View just sold in the recent American Glass Auction for $240. You should be able to score one for a couple hundred.
Jim: thanks for the input...
Michael: Thanks for the information...Too bad the one I found recently was all busted, it always amazes me how a bottle makes it all the way to Hawaii...
The BS brothers ripped off an old filipino man last year. He had one of those and they bought it off of him for $15.00 and that was after I told them what it was worth. Me no like dat kin!
BS Bros? HAR! D'ya mean the kings of Hawaiian bottle digging on Youtube? You are keeling me, Rocky. Yeah, those Seattle beers turn up in faraway places, kinda like Hono bottles in Sacramento.
