Collectors refer to these as "pepper sauce" bottles. Bottles of this general form were used by a number of manufacturers. They are common in the SE USA, at least.

Hi Larisa,
Yes! It is a pepper sauce bottle.I found a picture of it in the book"Redigging the West" by Lynn Blumenstein.I am a bottle
collector that lived in the Salem area for 25 years. I now live
in Nevada.Wow! That was a change of sceanery. I have over
500 bottles from there and here. Im new to this site. If I can
help in any way I will.
