Hi all, I am new to the forum an I am seeking some advice. A friend of mine has asked me to sell his beer bottle collection, but I'm not really sure where to start. Would it be on this forum, Ebay, Craigslist, etc., or is there another place that would be better? His collection is about 250 bottles, most made within the last 40 years, from all over the world. I'm not really sure what it's worth, so any input would be greatly appreciated. I can post some pictures if I need to. Thanks!

Craigslist would be easiest offering local pickup. Shipping is out. Sounds like newer stuff and demand is very low for these kinds of beers. Also low value. Good luck.

OK. What do you think a fair value would be for the collection?

Maybe $1.00 a bottle so $250 for collection at best if your lucky. Just my opinion, no insult intended. LEON.

I have found little demand for labeled beer bottles that age, especially foreign bottles. Craigslist, you might find someone who doesn't know any better.
