Hey, Guys Been digging in a good dump over the past few years with some good success levels on many days, but my biggest problem is how swampy the spot is. The trash layer in the dump, at the best times of the year, starts about a foot or two above the water level, and continues down to well below 2 feet. Some years the entire dump is under 4 feet of water or more. I'm looking for a good, reliable trash or water pump to pump out a sizable hole so that I can keep digging. Has anyone on here used the water pump method before to get into these sorts of dump? I'm concerned about the suspended sediments in the water messing the pump up, so I'm thinking a submersible trash pump. The problem with that is that I can't seem to find one that is low enough in capacity that it won't empty the hole in 30 seconds. Am I better off with a lower capacity pump, or just one with a float switch perhaps? I was thinking about one of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tsurumi-Pump-HSZ2-4S-1-hour-of-use/251627470301?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D26969%26meid%3D9aa63cb8c98f4ad8a7c62735f5f09cad%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D11189%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D360965793097 Any advice anyone can offer on this is much appreciated. Beer's on me for the person who can offer me the best advice! Barrett
