Found this monster of a 2 part sign in an extremely unlikely place.

What do yall think?

It appears to be enamel an not in terrible shape.

I'm guess that each piece is at least 1'x10' (min)...

It'll be at least a 2 man job extracting these. But I don't know if they are worth anything..

Yes pull it out of there!....not a gigantic value, but I bet someone at least would pay a couple hundred bucks.
Be a shame to leave it behind....many collectors are very fond of some rust.
It's possible you may get more for it from the right person.

Maybe send the pics to the tv pickers from Iowa on the Hist. Channel--Antique Archaeology. They love cars, signage, and seemingly pay pretty well. In any case, you're on/near a gas station site that could offer up some great finds. Pumps/globes from their top, glass oil bottles, old car hood ornaments, etc. Sound good? ;)

Even though it's not an official chevron sign?

It just so big and not pristine..

Could be some neat ACLs back in there? I figured out where the sign came from, I kinda doubt there are pumps there.
There are numerous piles of stuff tho.

Definitely explore those piles of stuff. Just watch out for the usual--you know--snakes, Sasquatch, etc.;)

I see all sorts of snakes and salamanders, no sasquatch as of yet...

The day I do find one?
I'll be in evey paper in the country! As the villain who killed big foot....

And yes, I would..
Lol
