Hi Mike,
Shape and oval on front look like cobalt druggest bottle. They are sought after by many collectors. They usually contained prescription medicines. What is the embossing in the oval? Looks like abbrev. Philadelphia on bottom but can,t figure out the rest from photo.

hey cliff thanks for the info,the bottle says LLEWELLYN 1518 chestnut philad'a. i think my buddy may have found a bottle whith similar embossing thanks guys
