Hi, I have just joined this group but have always loved old glass bottles. I dug up quite a few medicinal/castor oil/perfume bottles on a farm I lived on for a while.
I have just moved to another property and while gardening I dug up a bottle base which looked unusual. The base is quite big, 95mm diameter.
The marks on it look like 195 S A 967 A and there is a dimple in the centre of the inside base.
I have searched for the makers mark but haven't found a match. Although it is not a complete bottle and has no value I am still keen on identifying it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Heather
