I'm up in New Jersey for work and I fiqured I'd make the best of it so I took the backroads and hit a few antique shops. Found a couple interesting bottles , one actually a Jersey native.
Its a tall cylinder with a round slug plate type embossing that reads Dr C E WELCH'S CELEBRATED UNFERMENTED WINE VINELAND NJ. This was of course from the Charles the son of the famous Thomas Welch inventor of pasturized grape juice.

lots of info out there on them. The bottle was apparently put out in the 1880s before the product really caught on in 1893. Dont know how common it is but its the first one I have seen.
An interesting peice of american history. Canf post a photo since i'm on the road.
