Is there any thing to put inside a painted lable to show the color and detail, as milk bottles are displayed ?

You can use the same thing like this. Coffee beans work good too. Coffe grounds do not. Colored water works good to.

What do you use as a white filler ? I use cotton balls packed in milk bottles, as everything else ive checked out, is expensive ?

These are those expensive little beads. I have taken the pressed styro packing inserts and broke them up so the beads seperate. That is a lot of fun, ya get that crap every where and it's full of static, but it works.
