Broken Dreams

Well 2 weeks ago I told you about my first dig of the year and a possible spot to dig at a brckyard. We just got back from the spot and we now realize it may not have been a brick yard. But it deffinetly sits on the hill the brickyards used for their clay. The whole are is nothing but clay. Anyway heres some picsa of the dump area

unfortunatley most things on the surface and underneath was broken

It dosent help when they throw brick over the side with the trash. Also the whole hill was made of clay. some spots I could dig 2 feet some 2i nches. then the rest was clay.

The weekend wasnt a total loss though. We did find 6 or 7 Privies/well spots heres three of them. I know the pictures arent the greatest but brlieve me they are all like the top right pic (some dry).
