Hi! I'm a new collector. Got brown squat bottle with 7up embossed on neck. On the bottom are the numbers 9 2. 8. around a mark ( oval with two spears on each side?) in the middle. Does anyone know how old this is?

We have quite knowledgeable soda bottle collectors on the forum and they pretty much cover every type of soda bottle so you should be able to get an answer.
i believe the amber 7 up's were from the 50's, although not 100% positive. i know they came with an acl lable and maybe some with a paper lable. the reason i say maybe a paper lable, is i have seen several like you describe with the 7 up embossed on the upper part and nothing in the middle. seems like it would be open there for a lable. the acl's bring a good price on ebay if they are in good shape. i have seen the ones like you describe but they don't bring much. like warren said post a picture, maybe some will have more info.
