Bryan, Texas HUTCH BOTTLES FOR SALE

Hello all! I promised I would offer the Hutch Bottle Collection on this website before listing on Ebay. If you are interested in any of the bottles, please make me an offer. No reasonable offer is refused. I have over 70 to sell!

All of these bottles came from a grocer in Normangee, Texas – they were sitting out back waiting to be picked up for filling when the market caught fire and the grocer was able to save the bottles (they were NOT in the fire). Time passed…they were buried in dirt as part of a backyard decorative walkway to a garden, later dug up and brought to California in 1936. The gentleman who owns them is 90 yrs old and has asked me to sell them for him. These bottles need cleaning/tumbling…I will leave that to the buyer.

Back Embossing: THIS BOTTLE NEVER SOLD
Back Heel Embossing: ROOT ???? 868 (can’t make out due to chips)
Base Embossing: TRADE / diamond shape w/ P in the center / MARK
Appx 7 ¼†tall
This bottle has nice bubbles in glass
There is chips at the heel & base. There is a crack & chips in the lip.

Hi wv ~ I am working on getting them all posted, it's taking some time...there's 70 bottles.
As far as what I think is a reasonable offer...I've already sold 6 bottles, some had chips, some didn't...but the buyer didn't care - he wanted them - so he made a fair offer and I accepted.
If you are interested, great...if not, no problem.
