Pulled from some cold wet muck. They are in bad shape, but I really like the big ones. Will go back with waders, hope to find some in better shape.

Nice finds - high voltage power glass isn't easy to find these days. Hope you're able to keep searching that area and turn up more.

I think the one on the left is a CD 302, what Hemingray called the "Muncie Type". Does it have a 7 inch diameter? Sometimes camera angles can make it tough to judge the size, and there is a larger Muncie that's 9 inches wide, which is a CD 303.

The one on the right is a CD 282, based on the Converse design patent - HERE is a link to the patent info. Several manufacturers made these, and I can't make out any embossing in your photo. If you can provide that info, we'll be able to tell you more about it.

7 in. on the M-type, 5 1/2 on the other. Here is a pic with a 151 for size. Thanks for the input !

The smaller one says, patent may 2 1893, under that it also says, patented april 25 1899
Looks like it had embossing on the other side also, but that is gone.

The bigger one says, hemingray patent may 2nd 1893, on the back side , all that remains is, NCIE TYPE

Thanks.

Go back with a pitchfork. Push it in the muck slowly, like 4 little probes. Works great in swampy areas.
