Ceramic/Stoneware Shard

Can't remember where I found this shard, but I think it was in the water. If I can remember where I found it, would it be a good indication to dig for bottles there?

Is it part of a bottle?

It's hard to judge size but it looks like a piece of insulator or fuse, not bottle or jug etc.
Anyplace with pieces can be good for digging or at least a test hole or 3.

Looks like electrical porcelain, perhaps a piece of a light fixture or fuse as Cowseatmaize mentioned. Probably not a line insulator.

Agreed, I was thinking more elec pasture fencing. I just can't get a size feeling from it.
