This a barrel figural whiskey bottle with an inside-thread lip. It is embossed around the shoulder CHAPIN & GORE CHICAGO.
I am fond of this whiskey bottle, in part because I grew up in Chicago, but mostly because it is so eye-pleasing.
One thing about the bottle nags at me, though: I don't have the stopper. I don't even know what the stopper looks like, except that it is threaded. Does anyone here have one of these stoppers? Diggers in the Midwest must find these stoppers once in a while. Can you post an image? Thanks!
