Clarke's Genessee 5 3/4" by 1 3/4" + 1 1/8" base. Sea Green interesting tooled lip. So what is it? Yes, a liniment but what else?

I guess the only thing I can add is that it was made in what I have heard called a "hinge mold" which would date it to 1860 - early 1870s. It's also beauteous ! ! ! !

What else would you like to know other than value ? which I have no clue about.

I love the really crude embossing. The "N.Y." is completely squished, and the "CLARKE'S" looks like it was written by a kindergartner!

Hello falconer,
I don't know either what it is or was for, but....Matt's CD lists the price as of 10/07/07 as $100.00!
I agree, it's a beauty! How did you come by it?
Regards,

That's a beautiful looking bottle. Appears to have missed the pontil rod by a matter of minutes [:)]
