I'm not sure what kind of closures they took? One's mouth resembles a milk bottle. The biggest looks fully machine-made, but the other two are tooled. Here they are in general. Here is one view of one mouth. (Click the blue to take you to an image which will pop up in a new tab.)Here's another angle. This one looks like the mouth to a milk bottle. The base to the one has a T on it. Condiments and maybe sauces? Also, here is the mouth to some sort of early tooled screw-top sauce. Base reads PATENTED APRIL 9 1898 .What's odd about it is that it appears machine-made except for the uppermost portion of the lip. Anyone know anything about these? Also, look how thick the glass is on this piece-- it seems like an over-waste of glass and space. The weight for the amount of product does not work out. Nonetheless, it's nearly indestructible as it did fall and fly several feet into hard concrete one day. Thanks for any help. :)

In getting links for these, I uploaded to my own Google+ antiques community temporarily. I told them I was about to delete it, but a buddy down in Florida responded with this:"...in case you don't already know, the one on the far left is a pickle jar, I have found one labeled as such. Again it is a stock bottle, what may really interest you is the three sided clear--unsure of it's contents, but more than once now have seen a patent date of 1890 or 1892 on the bottom--sometimes very, very faint but readable. The other a smaller version of the pickle/ or as I like to say "Food jar" Have found these with glass caps that had rubber seals, much to my delight some of my best sellers both for color and shape, lets artists do their thing I suppose. ;)" I am still looking for what the type of closure is called.

Here is patent info to the tooled screw-top, but it was not originally made to be a screw-top. Here must be the older version of it, but it cannot be much older. Here I think mine is.

That Hutch stopper is all wrong compared to the one I have sitting right beside (Can't read name on it) me-- or any of my others. Why do patents never match up?

I'm soo confused with all the "HERE" things so I'll just focus on the catsup. That cork and cap is very common on a lot of food and whiskey bottles, it goes back to the 1870's at least. If your familiar with ground tops it's about the same except it's tooled instead. Later versions used a Goldy or crown top along the the screw cover which basically just help keep the dust out and the moisture in after it was opened. It wasn't part of the packing process at all.
The design patent had nothing to do with the closure either, it was just the exterior pattern and shape of the bottle.

Eric, are not the links saying "Here" in the color blue? When you click on what is in blue, it's supposed to take you to images. I was trying to just link them in instead of filling up the forum's space with images of nothing really special.

I see them fine, they're are just so many. Here's one of interest to me. It looks like some kind of immerser insert. Do you have any other pictures or have you tried to take it out?
