Hello to all. I'm not actually a collector, but I have an interesting piece that I just can't seem to identify. It's obviously old (I'm assuming pre-1900s), but there are very few distinguishing features.
It's a conic shaped medium amber bottle with an odd grid pattern covering most of the wall, with the exception of a section on the lower half. Also, there is what appears to be an off-center number "4" on the bottom. Since the bottle appears to be pre-recycling era, I'm going to assume it's not a recycling number. Any help anyone could give in identifying the thing would be appreciated.
